David Hassett

David cut his teeth as a newly qualified accountant with Ernst & Young in its audit division. He continued his professional development at a leading mid-tier accounting firm, Grant Thornton.

Leveraging the knowledge he gained in the accounting profession, David transitioned to the recruitment industry where accounting and finance became his specialty, executing permanent assignments with Lloyd Morgan and Robert Walters.

In 2002, David was instrumental in forming a boutique recruitment firm, after recognising the need for a firm that offered its clients a personalised service. This boutique firm evolved into Hassett after only few years.

David personifies the values of the Hassett brand with his genuine approach and engaging personality. He creates an open and inviting office environment for everyone who enters it, from the team, to the clients and candidates who are on their recruitment journeys.
